American Women's Club of EdmontonThe fonds consists of a collection of historical sketches on the Riverdale area created by Amos Skinner. It includes lists of street names in Riverdale and of Principals at Riverdale School.
The records include references to Mr. D.B. Fraser, Fraser’s Mill and Mr. J.B. Little.
The community of Riverdale is located along the North Saskatchewan River. Settlers arriving in the 1880s were quick to develop this large flat area, which was just one mile downstream from Fort Edmonton. One of the first arrivals was Daniel Robert Fraser, who started a flour and sawmill in the flats in 1881. The area became known as Fraser Flats until the community changed the name to Riverdale in 1910.
The fonds consists of a diary belonging to Robert’s second wife, Margaret ‘Greta’ McPherson (Grant) Anderson and papers relating to the birth registration of their son Malcolm Robert Anderson (b 19 Apr 1920). There is also a poem written by Robert Thompson Anderson, Our Capital Town, about the city of Edmonton and apparently read at annual events in the fire department.
The photographs include the Anderson home and family members, Edmonton street scenes and events, and the Edmonton Fire Department and Health Department.
The fonds also includes Robert’s published works, The Old Timer and Other Poems (819 AND), Canadian Born and other Western Verse (819 AND 1913 c.3) and Troopers in France (819 AND 1932).

This fonds also consists of records of the 51st Battalion Association, including minutes, correspondence, membership and financial records and the nominal roll of officers, non-commissioned officers and men of the battalion. It also includes the association gavel and the leather briefcase that held the association records.
The material is arranged into two main sections, Andrew L. Parnham and the 51st Battalion Association.
The fonds consists of papers relating to the preparation and presentation of boxing at the XI Commonwealth Games in Edmonton in 1978 including: notes, correspondence, minutes, venue blueprints and brochures.
Oslund, AndrewThe collection consists of materials collected by Anna Moran and given to her daughter Doris Lendahl. The collection consists of photograph albums and calendar cards, dated 1895-1904, a copy of "Hill's Manual of Social and Business Forms" and beaded belts. The blue, black and red belt (item 6) was made for Mrs. Lendahl's mother, Anna Moran, by an Indigenous woman.
